Ciana Marie
The name Ciana means “enduring light” and acknowledges both my Sicilian and Irish roots. While my middle name, Marie, was the name carried by both of my Grandmothers and reminds me of how I arrived here.
Through mindful movement, intentional breathing, and energy work, “Shine so bright” is an invitation to reconnect, remember, your brightest self.

About
Ciana has been in motion since a young age. She was a dancer for 15 years, soon after leaving the dance world she found yoga and has been practicing for the past ten years. Ciana completed her 200-Hour teacher certification at the Kripalu Center for Yoga with the intention of deepening her personal yoga practice, but quickly fell in love with teaching.
Ciana’s offerings are centered around compassionate self-inquiry, inspired by the teachings of Swami Kripalu founder of Kripalu Yoga, who famously stated, “Self-observation without judgement is the highest form of spiritual practice.” Ciana’s teaching style is slow paced, focusing on integrating breath with asanas/movement to improve overall health, build strength and deepen self-awareness.
Ciana is an energy worker, offering Reiki, 13th Octave LaHoChi, and is training with Breath Liberation Society as a Breathwork Facilitator. In addition to her passion for somatic practices, she has worked in the local food and farming sector for eight years. Ciana holds great reverence for the Stockbridge-Munsee Mohican Land (Berkshires, Massachusetts), she was born, raised and lives on.
When she isn’t practicing yoga, or breathing, you can find her farming, hiking and creating nourishing meals with local foods.
