Ciana Marie

Ciana has been in motion since a young age. After 15 years as a dancer she found yoga and has been practicing for over ten years. She completed her 200-Hour teacher certification at the Kripalu Center for Yoga with the intention of deepening her personal yoga practice, but quickly fell in love with teaching. 

 

Ciana’s offerings are centered around compassionate self-inquiry, inspired by the teachings of Swami Kripalu founder of Kripalu Yoga, who famously stated, “Self-observation without judgement is the highest form of spiritual practice.” Ciana’s teaching style is slow paced, focusing on integrating breath with asanas (postures) to improve overall health, build strength and deepen self-awareness. 

 

As an energy practitioner, Ciana offers Reiki, 13th Octave LaHoChi, and is training with Breath Liberation Society to become Breathwork Facilitator. In addition to her passion for somatic practices, she has worked in the local food and farming sector for eight years and holds great reverence for the Stockbridge-Munsee Mohican Land (Berkshires, Massachusetts), she was born, raised and lives on.

When she isn’t practicing yoga, or breathing, you can find her farming, hiking and creating nourishing meals with local foods.
